NOTIFICATION OF VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT OF GOVERNMENT SERVANT ON 25 YEARS QUALIFYING SERVICE

Reg(6)/73 dated 04-01-1975 in the connection with the Voluntary Retirement of Government Servant on the 25 years Qualifying the Service.

VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT OF GOVERNMENT SERVANT:

The undersigned is directed to the refer to para 5 of this is the Division of O-H-No.OB.2/63-IMP(I), dated 18.08.1966 according to which right to the seek voluntary retirement accrues to the Government servant after they has completed 25 years of qualifying service for the pension. The number of cases have the come to notice of this Division of in which it was found, after such an application for the retirement under the Para 5 of the O-M-referred to above had been submitted and accepted by the competent authority and government servant had actually the retired, that 25 years qualifying the service for the pension had not been rendered e.g. the
period of extra-ordinary leave had not been the excluded from the service.
