The Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad has been prepared Revised and Short Syllabus HSSC FBISE for academic session 20221. Federal Board has introduced this syllabus for Annual Examination 2021.
REVISED AND SHORT SYLLABUS HSSC FBISE ISLAMABAD:
Board has to do reduce syllabus due to spread of COVID-19 in country and all over world. The educational institutions (Schools/Colleges/Universities) remained closed till 15 September 2020. The main portion of academic session passed without the regular classes. The students could not attend classes from April/May 2020 to 15-09-2020.
Even they attended online classes, yet they could not complete required course. Many of students even had not facility of internet at home. That is why these kinds of students were affected most.
Keeping in view above realities, FBISE Islamabad has to decide the reduce syllabus. The main purpose of same is to give students tasks as much as they could cover up to the March/April 2021. The students have only about 5 to 6 months to cover Intermediate Course. So the only solution of same was to shorten Course/syllabus. There were also rumors that Federal Board will not reduce syllabus for Intermediate (FA/F.Sc/I.Com). But finally, this news was false and the Board has reduced syllabus for FA/F.Sc/I.Com, etc
Federal Board Islamabad assigned duty to the reduce syllabus/course to the education experts. The committee worked hard day and night to facilitate students. Finally, team completed task and handed over to FBISE
authorities.
Now Federal Board has sent the short/reduced syllabus to National Curriculum Council (NCC) for final approval. I shall upload same syllabus as soon as it is approved by (NCC) and shared by the FBISE Islamabad.
